Matthew Rhoads Consulting operates EduConference Radar. This notice explains what the site collects, why, and for how long. Questions: educonference-radar@agentmail.to or the contact page.
No account, no tracking cookies
You can search, filter, and read listings without an account. This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Your shortlist, proposal status choices, and saved searches are stored in your browser localStorage and are never sent to us or synchronized. You can clear them from My shortlist or your browser settings. Shared shortlist links contain conference IDs only.
What the forms collect
The contact form collects your name, email, and message. The conference submission form collects the conference name, official website, organizer, optional date, optional call for proposals link, your contact email, and optional details. The correction and removal form collects your name, email, the listing URL, and your request. We store what you send in our database so the owner can review it and reply. We use it only for that purpose and do not sell it or add you to a mailing list.
Newsletter signup on Buttondown
The Conference Brief is managed by Buttondown. The Subscribe buttons link to our Buttondown page, and you enter your email there, not on this site. Buttondown handles confirmation, delivery, and unsubscribe under its own privacy policy. Every issue will include an unsubscribe link.
Spam protection with Cloudflare Turnstile
Public forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a person, not a bot, is sending them. Turnstile runs a challenge in your browser and Cloudflare processes the related technical data under its own privacy policy. To limit abuse, each form also keeps a short-lived counter keyed by a one-way hash of your connection address and the current hour. We do not store the address itself.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see aggregate page views and page performance. Cloudflare states that it does not use cookies or localStorage to track visitors, does not fingerprint individuals, and does not collect or use personal data of visitors. The site also keeps its own daily totals of a few public actions, such as searches and outbound conference link clicks. Those totals are counts per day and do not identify anyone.
Hosting
The site runs on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes connection data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect the site, under its own policies.
Retention and your requests
Contact messages and conference submissions are deleted automatically after 90 days. Rate-limit counters are deleted within about a day. Correction requests are kept while the owner reviews them. To ask for a copy, correction, or deletion of anything you sent, use the contact page or email educonference-radar@agentmail.to.
